Celebrate Special Events with Riverside Dining & Rafting on the Snake River in Jackson Hole

Think exhilarating whitewater rafting on the Snake River accompanied by a delicious riverside meal.
Celebrating your special event with a Mad River dinner or lunch trip is sure to be unforgettable from start to finish. First, you’ll meet at our boat house and then head south of Jackson to the beautiful and scenic Snake River canyon. On the way, you will pass bald eagle nests, wildflowers, and incredible mountain scenery. Eventually, the Snake River comes into view and you catch your first glimpse of the river you’re about to ride. Once the bus arrives at the boat ramp, our professional river guides will help you get geared up and ready for a thrilling whitewater experience.
Once on the river, your group and your guide will paddle your boat through class 1-3 rapids. About halfway through the trip, your boats will eddy out at our famous dinner site located on a river bench, with river access only. Here, our professional chef, Ty Hess, puts his 15 years of fine dining experience to work on the river, cooking up dishes like curry crusted trout, sweet tea brined pork tenderloin, San Marzano tomato bisque, and even dutch oven desserts. If you’d like a custom menu for your celebration meal at the dinner site, let us know in advance and there’s a good chance the chef can whip it up for you.
No matter the occasion, a Mad River-style celebration is sure to be memorable. Imagine blowing out the birthday candles in homemade peach cobbler instead of a lackluster supermarket cake. How about a family reunion dinner with sounds of the Snake River in the background rather than a busy restaurant? After your group has finished their delicious meal, we’ll do the dishes while you get ready to get back on the river to run some more rapids. Finally, your trip will end with a comfortable ride back to our boathouse. Everyone will be sure to remember the whitewater fun they had while enjoying an incredible meal together in the great outdoors.
