The Jackson River Runners' Museum at Mad River tells the story of America's river pioneers, the boats they used, the hardships they endured, and the adventurous life they lived.

View artifacts, photos, videos, actual historic rafts as well as authenic replicas of the boats used during the early days on the river.

Come relive the exciting journeys of the early river explorers. View "Charlie", the first inflatable rubber raft ever made, on loan from the Utah Historical Society.

Award-Winning Facilities

Featured in Architecture Magazine and designed by renouned Architect Will Bruder specifically for Mad River's rafting operation, "The Wedge," includes dressing rooms, restrooms, retail store, rental department and houses Wyoming's first River Runners Museum.
